Mack is a nonbinary creative, drag performer, and small business owner based out of St. Louis. I asked them a little about their background, and then I asked what they’re most proud of. I am floored by their answers.
“Professionally speaking, I’m a tap dancing comedy draglesque entertainer, website designer, dance teacher, and astrology reader. Shameless plug: visit www.directmotioncreative.com to book me for any of the above services! Personally speaking… I’m queer, trans, and nonbinary, neurodivergent, and mentally ill. I’m also an adoptee, complex trauma survivor, eclectic witch, and relationship anarchist.”
“I’m most proud of the ways I use my creativity to make queer and trans folks feel seen, affirmed, accepted, and cared for - and my ability to make people laugh, too! I’m also proud of the aligned authenticity I’ve been intentionally cultivating in all areas of my life. It has made some things more challenging, but I’ve also spent time on the so-called ‘path of least resistance.’ It turns out the resistance just gets internalized when you stifle your most authentic truth.”
